  • Proper Training and Preparation: When considering riding a Clydesdale, it is crucial to ensure that both the horse and rider are adequately prepared. Like any horse, Clydesdales require proper training to familiarize them with the equipment and develop the necessary skills for safe riding. Working with an experienced trainer who understands the breed's unique characteristics is vital to establish a solid foundation and build a harmonious partnership with your Clydesdale companion.

  • Considerations for Clydesdale Riders: Riders venturing into the world of Clydesdales should be aware of a few key considerations. Given their considerable size, mounting a Clydesdale may require a mounting block or assistance. Additionally, riders should be mindful of their own weight in relation to the horse's carrying capacity. Clydesdales can comfortably accommodate riders of varying sizes, but it's essential to respect the horse's physical limitations and ensure a balanced and comfortable riding experience for both horse and rider.
